    ClickBank Marketing Tips And Strategies

Posted on February 13, 2010, 3:53 am, by Mike Gates, under affiliate marketing.

New to affiliate marketing? We can’t promise to make you an overnight millionaire, but we can set you off in the right direction with some ClickBank marketing tips, and we’ll give you the short version right up front: Basic common marketing sense still applies no matter what you’re selling.

The great thing about the internet: You can make a comfortable living right from your home office. The not so great thing about the internet: It’s a competitive world out there now that anyone with a computer can compete. The good outweighs the bad, though, and if you want to get serious, you need to take advantage of every opportunity the internet offers for easy, cheap marketing.

So what should you do, exactly? Well, you got into internet marketing to become self employed, right? So we’re not going to tell you step by step what you need to do. Rather, we’ll give you a few ideas that do tend to work, and hopefully point you towards coming up with your own brilliant marketing tactics…

    Video Advertising

These days, companies like Coca Cola don’t even need to spend millions of dollars to land a Superbowl ad spot. Major corporations are now browsing sites like Youtube and looking for talented young video content creators, and offering them sponsorship and product placement deals. A popular viral video might net tens of millions of views, which is, in fact, a significantly higher viewership than the majority of Hollywood films. If you put out a video that’s entertaining enough, you can bet that people will be showing it to their friends, and those friends will show it to their friends, and so on. So make something that’s funny or exciting, and informative, and you’ve got a multimillion dollar ad campaign that didn’t cost you a cent to produce.

    Link Swapping

Even in the age of high speed internet, nothing beats trading links with similar minded webmasters. Of course, you need to consider what sort of link trading is appropriate. Obviously if you were selling Bibles, you wouldn’t trade links with a website on Buddhism. Join some forums and meet up with webmasters running sites that are relevant to what you’re selling, send out some emails, and get your links out there.

    Be Aggressive

Look, if you’re just starting out, your customers don’t even know you exist yet. You can’t just sit back and wait for the money to start pouring in, you’ve got to get out there and make yourself known. Find message boards and chat rooms devoted to what you’re selling and get the word out, sign up for a Google AdSense account, do whatever you have to do to get noticed. You’ve got just what your customers want, they just don’t know it yet, and they won’t know it until you’re ready to get out there and let it be known.

    Use Your Imagination

Like we said, you need to come up with some of your own marketing ideas. A lot of people are reading this article, and if we give away some brilliant secret, everyone and their mother is going to be using it. What you want is the kind of brilliant idea that nobody but you could have come up with, and which is guaranteed to turn some heads.

How? Well, just keep in mind the two things you need to know about great marketing: It has to be informative, and it has to turn heads. Get people’s attention however you can, and once they’re listening, let them know just how badly they want what you’re offering.
